Course Conditions as of 11/30/2013
fedsigMaster recently wrote, "Major improvements are underway. The course is in great condition and should be in top shape this spring". I agree with fedsigMaster's opinion being the lead volunteer of this project. We have seen improvements with all tee pads brought up to grade, trash receptacles at every pad, signs placed in a uniform place, and benches at every hole. All fairways have dead trees, roots and stumps removed along with dead trees, limbs, briars and trash removed on both sides of each hole. Also temporary navigation signs are in place and the accurate distances from tee to basket posted on every hole sign. Permanent signs, scorecards, maps along with other improvements will be done in the spring when "Phase Two" will begin. I follow DGCR and appreciate the reviews providing the input we need to guide us in making all improvements.
