Local Directions: From the intersection of Gurley St. and Mt. Vernon, take Mt. Vernon south (up the hill). Mt. Vernon turns into S. Senator Hwy. Stay on Senator Hwy. approx. 4.1 miles, past Goldwater Lake, to School House Gulch Road. School House Gulch Road turns to dirt, but is passable with most any vehicle. The road will make 2 forks. First fork stay to the right and stay to the left on the 2nd fork (Pinehurst Dr.). You have gone too far if you come upon Elk Trail. The course can be hard to locate because of lack of signage, but you will see taped trees to your left just prior to Elk Trail. Best parking area is across road from first tee.
