Description: Sinnissippi is a beautiful well manicured park with a scenic view overlooking the Rock River. The majority of course plays underneath the shade of large trees. The front 9 features some nice elevation changes and one of the best holes in the World. #5's natural island hole is a beauty. The back 9 is rather flat and long. The natural land offers rollers paradise. Multiple pins on each hole offer a wide variety. Pins are often changed.
June of 2012 saw the addition of 6 new, challenging holes. Each of the new holes is wooded to some degree, utilizing marginal areas of the park, but right alongside the existing course. All 24 Tee signs have been updated and reflect all possible pin locations. The new hole 23 will surely become a favorite to all who play this course as it throws downhill through tight woods alongside an ancient limestone cliff.
Sinnissippi Park is also home to several Native American burial mounts from the Hopewellian Period. Be sure to visit this site at the west end of the course, along the bluff overlooking the river.
This course will challenge top players while being a blast to play for new players.
