Course Guides:
Description: Some lengthy holes and shorter holes. A good course for beginners and as well as longtime players.
Course begins behind SS building. Maps are available from the Information Desk in the Student Center. Holes 1-13 are around the SS building. Holes 14-18 wrap around Mattke Field and the campus' Nature Center. Hole 18 finishes by Sweetland Hall. Water comes into play on Holes 16-18 (shots have to be made over a pond) and sometimes Holes 3-5 (area plays next to an water overflow ditch which may be full after snow melt in the spring).
Students of SMSU may check-out equipment to play the course from Commons East or Commons West.

Local Directions: Take Hwy. 23 bypass north out of Marshall. Take the 1st left possible (Mustang Trail). The course begins in the corner of the field northwest of the SS building.
NOTE: You cannot park in the street or the parking lots on class days or you will be ticketed. There are some 2 hour parking spots located near the end of the course on Birch St. I would recommend parking on Birch St. by Sweetland Hall, walking to the Student Center to pick up a course map, and then using the tunnel system to walk to the SS building.
