The course is really in good playing condition but the only negative is the stinging nettles on the upper holes 7-9. Tees are in good shape but no new concrete as of yet. Not all that necessary on this course, though.

Description: This is the second of three courses made at Horning's. Opened November 22, 2008. Admission to Horning's Hideout is $4 per person per day (not per course or per round!). Annual passes are available for frequent visitors.

This is a family- and beginner-friendly "pitch 'n' putt" course (the average hole length is 170 feet), but the elevation changes and lots of trees make it fun for experienced players as well; a nice compliment to the original course. Solar-powered lights are installed on all baskets and tee posts, making this the perfect venue for night/glow golf. New Tee Pad signs are in, the same "to scale, detailed" signs as through out Horning's.

Open year-round except during summer concerts. For the year of 2012, closure dates so far are are June 21st - 26th, July 18th - 24th, August 8th - 14th, and for Warrior Dash on September 5th - 11th.

Local Directions: From Portland, to west on Highway 26 to the North Plains/Glencoe Road exit (Exit 57), and turn right on Glencoe Road. Go 1.5 miles and then fork left on Pumpkin Ridge Road. Go 5 miles to a right at Brunswick Canyon Road (there should be a sign for HH), and follow the gravel road 1 mile into the canyon. Drive slow on the gravel!
