Description: The par 64 disc golf course at Seven Springs Mountain Resort plays down and across the slopes of the best four-season resort in the Mid-Atlantic region. Red tees play 5991 feet; White tees 7495 feet; and Blue tees 8989 feet with three par 5, four par 4, and 11 par 3 holes.
Get your fix of downhill shots by riding the chairlift to the top of the mountain and play down the front nine. Have lunch then take the lift back to the top to play the back nine that finishes below the Bavarian Beach. A chairlift pas costs $6, or $14 to rent a set of discs and ride the lift. $50 season pass. Lift runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. during week, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekend.
Spectacular views of the Laurel Highlands, windmills, and Stone Lodge make you forget the 300 foot roll-away on #7 Corkscrew or the shot that did not quite clear Lake Oliver on hole 11. The 300-foot drop in elevation on #15 will give you Goosebumps. Swooping grass fairways, elevated tees and greens beckon for you to throw gravity-defying shots.
Come for the day or weekend. The Adventure Pass ($29.95 for house guests/$34.95 for day guests) lets you play disc golf and many of the other activities as well. Do stuff like the climbing wall, Euro-Bungy jump, Ultimate Terrain Vehicles (UTV), downhill Bike Park and miles of ATB trails. Book a room at the lodge and have coffee on the balcony overlooking the mountainside disc golf course. Open May through October.
