Description: This Gold Tee course is the third, newest and longest course at Horning's Hideout. Huge Teepads and baskets were finished on 9/24/09, New Tee signs made by HouckDesign (the Platinums) were installed 11-27-09.
Being a Gold Tee Course, it can be used for all tournaments including Open Tournaments. This course is also through both fields and through the woods, with much greater elevation changes than the other courses. For example, Hole #8 is 420' long with a 124' drop. Being a Gold Tee Course, this course is very, very challenging and a great experience for all players, though a little tough on beginners because of the long and challenging fairways.
Admission to Horning's Hideout is $4 per person per day (not per course or per round!). Annual passes are available for frequent visitors.
Open year-round except during summer concerts. For the year of 2012, closure dates so far are are June 21st - 26th, July 18th - 24th, August 8th - 14th, and for Warrior Dash on September 5th - 11th.
