Description: Nestled in the quiet mountains of western NC, Simple Pleasures Farm is a sustainable family operated and owned farm. Alongside the family grown raspberries, strawberries, and all of your veggies, the newly designed 16 hole course offers several sidehill shots alongside steep hillsides and multiple lines through thick hardwood and pine forests. Several token open holes with a pond in play on one, an island green on hole 14, OB mixed in here and there, enough elevation change for some drastic rollers(holes 1-5,7,11, 13-16). Seven Instep baskets are mixed into the design along with a couple homemade baskets(which catch pretty well dead center). Teebox's are mixed lengths but all in all they average out at 10'x4' and are carpeted and mulched underneath to give a soft grippy surface.

2013 Simple Pleasures Ice Bowl was played on Jan. 5 2013 with above average temperatures, sunny skies and no wind. A great day for golf!
