Local Directions: Take Hwy 2 (Angeles Crest Highway) exit off the 210 and go north about 35 miles. At Newcomb's Ranch restaurant/bar, it's another 7.6 miles. The gate is 0.9 miles past Mt Waterman ski area. From Wrightwood, the road is closed when the snow gets too deep. See driving map is in Links/Files area.
