On Monday, March 19, 2012, the first permanent basket was installed at Churchill Park. We have plans on getting the front 9 finished by the end of the Summer.
The set up we have been using is the temporary set up for our FUNdraising tournaments at Churchill Park in Liberty TWP. Some of the holes are in their permanent positions and others are there for an extra fun factor during the park's slow season as we work on getting more fairways carved out for these tournaments and casual play (when we get permanent baskets set up).
We will be setting more and more holes up in the woods for these tournaments and while we are out working on the course for people to come play and get a feel for what will be going on with this course before it goes in.

From East: Take I-80W to the Belmont Ave/Youngstown exit. Make a right. Less than 100 yards from the light, make a left into the park.
From West: Take I-76 to I-80W. Take the Belmont Ave/Youngstown exit. Make a right at the light onto Liberty St. At the first light, make a left onto Belmont Ave. Go under the highway, through the light and less than 100 yards you will turn left into the park.
From South: Take 11N to I-80W. Take the Belmont Ave/Youngstown exit. Make a right at the light onto Liberty St. At the first light, make a left onto Belmont Ave. Go under the highway, through the light and less than 100 yards you will turn left into the park.
From North: Take 11S to the Tibbetts Wick Rd/Niles exit. Make a left. Go over the highway, through the light. At the next light, make a right onto Belmont Ave. Go through the light at Churchill Park. After you pass the Hampton Inn on the right, you will be about 100 yards away from the park entrance on your right.
From park entrance: follow the road all the way to the bottom. Some people get confused and park near the baseball field, keep going. Hole 1 starts in the woods behind the Churchill Park stone sign.
