The course is in near perfect condition. Tee pads cleaned, growth and rough mowed and bush hogged today in prep for the Charlotte Am Championships. Course looks better than it did for last year's Worlds.

Description: A course built for 2012 worlds. It's short, tight, and technical but is in a unique and enjoyable setting. Don't let the distances and short par 4s fool you, this course can be tricky. There is a birdie on every hole if you hit your perfect line, however, the 288 MA1 World's field averaged just a little under 56 for a par 57 course.

Local Directions: Take I-485 exit 4 towards fort mill (Rte 160). In 3.7 miles, turn right onto Sledge Rd (at traffic light), then a right onto Winget Rd. The park is at the end of the street on the right. Parking is next to the 2nd gate by the soccer fields. Walk behind 18's basket across the path and turn left into the woods for tee #1.

If coming from center city Charlotte (I-77), take exit 1A (Westinghouse) west for about 2 miles, turn left onto Steele Creek (Rte 160) and follow above directions.
