Description: A technically challenging, medium length course within a mostly flat rocky & wooded area. The course plays as an 18 hole course with 18 permanent baskets. There are 12 main fairways/tee pads. All or part of 6 fairways are played twice with direction and/or length variations to make the course a full 18 holes. Finding your way through is not a problem as the course signage will guide you easily to the proper place.
Long term future development at the course should bring 6-7 new complete fairways giving us 18-19 separate holes.
Historical Note: This course is named for a thorny orange bush/tree nicknamed 'Flying Dragon' (actual plant name Poncirus Trifoliate aka bitter orange) that can be found throughout the course. This plant is originally from China/Korea. Though quite a pest on occasion, we protect and preserve it as it is the namesake of the course.
PLEASE GIVE US YOUR FEEDBACK HERE WITH A REVIEW AFTER YOU PLAY. WHAT HOLES DO YOU LIKE/NOT LIKE? WHY? THANKS!

Local Directions: From Highway 67 (Beltline Road) in Decatur, turn onto Modaus Road. Go straight for 1.9 miles (4th traffic light) & turn right onto park entrance road for Jack Allen Soccer Complex. The course is inside this park. If the gate is closed, park there and walk up the road to the top of the hill. Then turn left into the gravel parking lot. You will find hole one tee box about 80 yards on the left. A warm up basket is off to the right in the grassy area beside the parking lot.
If there is a soccer tournament going on, just tell them that you are there to play disc golf and you do not have to pay to get into the park.
