Course Guides:
Description: Course map required to play the first time. All tees are marked with white painted arrows. All pole holes are marked with white tape bands. Many tight and low ceiling shots. A few holes are blind and are best played with a spotter. All OB is marked on the map. There are a few elevation changes and golfers need to be cautious during school hours.
The course originally evolved from a tournament held in 1977 with baskets and to abide with school rules has been played as a pole hole course ever since.
All courses are pole courses. Look for the respective colored tape on the top of the various light poles. Some pole tape may be faded or have fallen off and some poles are targets for multiple courses (and will have multiple colors of tape on them). Reading the course map is akin to reading a star chart for the novice UCI player, so if you can't identify a tee or pole, just pick a pole you can see and tee-off, or follow a group playing in front of you.
