Easier than the north course. This is a desert course so bring lots of water and be prepared for desert wildlife. The course has a lot of desert landscape with plenty of overgrown trees to get you into trouble.
The tee signs are not always 'oriented' to the tee pad. Look at the orientation of the tee pad on the sign and then compare it to the actual tee pad. Before I realized this, on one hole I was looking for the basket off to the left (per the sign) but it was really straight ahead.

Exit the 202 Red Mountain Freeway on Brown Rd and head West about 1 and 1/2 miles. Take the first left into Red Mountain Park and park at the very end of the parking lot on the left. The South course starts directly next to the restrooms.
