Course Conditions as of 9/21/2014
Brand new course, Actually the official Grand Opening was today. And the course conditions couldn't be better. Hole # 15 was moved to it's permanent position a couple days ago. Pesticide was sprayed through the wooded holes killing most of the poison Ivy. Mulch spread on most of the greens and a few paths leading to the next tee. Awesome foot bridge for peole to transverse over a steep valley @ hole # 2. Some of the amenities at the Rec center are clean restrooms with HOT water. Discs available for purchase at the store (to the right as you enter the center) A small restaurant in which one can eat a variety of healthy good food, and even have a healthy milkshake if that's your flavor. A new course map kiosk is in front of tee # 1. Big trapezoid tee pads for the long tees/ with smaller cement tee pads coming in the near future. The staff @ Kent State said this morning that they want to make this course the best it can be. And from what I've seen so far, I wouldn't doubt them. But patience is still key here as the staff is still trying to improve a course that's in pretty immaculate condition:)
