Pros:
There are a lot of people that enjoy a good beer while practicing putting or playing a round. The small practice area at 8th Wonder Brewery gives you the opportunity to practice your putting or 150' upshots and enjoy a beer or three from one of the few craft beer breweries in town.
The brewery is a very centrally located area; it is in the heart of the revitalized East Downtown area, and easy access off the major highways. The baskets are in a beer garden that was just installed recently. The baskets are out on their own so there is little worry that you may hit someone.
Cons:
Sadly, the two baskets that are on the property are the poor M-14s, which makes even the simplest of putts a recipe for a frustrating spit out.
The ground is all small gravel rocks, which makes walking around and throwing a bit difficult.
Obviously, no one would come here if they did not have plans to drink beer. This practice area was designed as a way for activities for all patrons, so do not expect the greatest course in the world.
Other Thoughts:
Take my beer opinion with a grain of salt, but I happen to enjoy 8th Wonder beers a lot more than other breweries throughout town. I also enjoy going to the brewery more than others, as it has a fun atmosphere, good food, activities, and obviously, a few baskets to practice on.
My recommendation is to not come play here unless you are going to have a beer. The practice area is a side thought for why people really go to the brewery.
