Pretty great layout. Challenging but not hard. The city takes pretty good care of this course throughout the year. They just trimmed up a bunch of dying trees to make this course that much easier. A decent bit of elevation change which is nice for this flat state.

Not much variance of shots. Almost all technical and short. TICKS like crazy in the spring - fall months.

You have to pay to get into this state park. So be prepared to pay an entrance fee. It's by car, so carpool to make it cheaper and definitely plan to play both courses. It's worth it, if you're looking for a fun, wooded course.

- I like this course, it just isn't very memorable. It isn't a very pretty course - there aren't any "signature" holes.

This is one of two fun short courses at Arcadia Lake. The other course is more sidearm/lefty friendly, but, played together they will be fun for everyone. Make the trip from OKC area to play if you haven't. Stay all day at the lake and play a few times. This course while not super challenging is a lot of fun. It is well worth the trip and the six bucks to play these two well kept, clean courses. Not a must play if just travelling through, but, it in OKC for long, make the stop. You won't regret it.

My "disc rating is weighted heavily to fun factor which this course has enough of. Good course.

PEOPLE, PICK UP YOUR TRASH.

This is a great course to work on your finesse shots. you might need a driver on a couple of holes, but can reach the basket on most with a midrange. Fun and next to another 18 holes for a two round trip.

Do not go here in the summer. Ticks are abundant and like to hide and feed in the nether regions of your body. Deet will not help you. Also it costs $5 to 7$ to get in, so carpooling makes it more worth it.

The Ice Bowl is held here sometimes and is a really fun event to play in, if you're not a puss.

The course plays through a disc golf exclusive section of a large park. The shots are short overall, with lots of ace runs and tricky little holes. The rough is thick, and definitely punishing if you miss your line. Many areas leave you with a pitch out as the only option if you get very far off the fairway. The tee pads are decent concrete, they're small but the holes are short so it doesn't matter. The tees are numbered, and the fairways are obvious so you don't get mixed up on which basket to throw to.

This course has a lot of RHBH hyzer shots, it would be nice to see a bit more variety in hole shape. The other course onsite balances it out, but if you're only playing a single round it's definitely not going to offer a full range of line shaping tests. The distance also gets a bit repetitive, with very short holes most players won't need anything faster than a putter or mid. Signage is pretty lacking, there's no distance or hole layout on the signs, so you have to scout out a lot of blind shots and there are some navigation issues.

Beginners will find this course a bit frustrating, the lines are very tight and the rough is punishing. More experienced players will find several of the tightest holes quite easy with spike hyzer lines that beginners likely can't execute, and the distances are so short that only upshots and short game skills will be tested. I had fun playing these courses, but they're not for everyone, if you want to work on your putter shots and are in the mood for a course that offers a chance to go 10 down, this isn't a bad stop.

Red and Blue course are both equals and both worth playing. Lots of turns and blind drives. VERY challenging course! This course offers some of the most technical shots you'll find. All the trees tone down the wind if your looking for a retreat.

Biggest complaint is the inability to play this course in the summer; it's just to thick!!! You better keep it on the fairways!!! Super short tee-box's! Blind drives with no tee-box maps to help determine basket position, lots of backtracking.

With better maps and signs this course would be excellent. I used my putter on nearly every drive but this super short course is still very sweet! I live in Kansas City, MO and will definitely come back to play this course again. Good camping at the lake too! The red course has the same pros and cons but is also super sweet!

Great wooded area with technical shots. Easy to follow course, and a definite bonus that there are two courses here.

Hairy course. Loaded with Ivy, Sumac, and Oak, as well as ticks and such. Not groomed well. Pay to park - 6 or 7 dollars.

Play in the winter!

Great course for midrange accuracy. You can work out those long putts, too. It's a good course to get out for a low scoring game, and a good course to take your friends. It's totally wooded, but there are good lines to throw on almost all the holes. You can birdie almost every hole if you're on target. There are a good range of shots, but most favor the right handed player on the blue course. (The lake has two courses) Located next to a really nice Edmond lake, and the course is pretty well kept. Really is a nice hike through the woods. Being a paid course, there's not much traffic, I don't think I've ever waited on a hole.

Costs six bucks to park, but you can stay all day. Only one hole you can throw over 300 feet. Ticks are really bad, and tees are short.

Really quick course to play. You can play 36 holes in under two hours.

This is the second of 2 courses that are back to back. The shade is basically the same as the red course. Mostly lefty friendly but there is a little mix of both. Good baskets and concrete pads, event though they are the size of stamps. (You dont really need bigger ones).

The tee sign are just numbers and distances which are wrong for the most part. The rough is just that and then some...ROUGH! Navigtion was tough and courses met up a couple times which also got confusing. You will have to look for baskets! I like tight fairways and risk reward golf but these 2 were just insane.

I rate these 2 course the same because they are very close to me. Not worth 7 dollars and I would rather go play Cunningham park in Edmond or go to the city and play there. If you do go, use a spotter and be prepared for a long day!

plays both for righties and lefties as long as you play both courses, and not extremely long making fun to play with a big group of friends, reguardless of experience.

can be hard to follow, there is no maps or directions during the course.

a group of us make the trip down from kc 2 times a year to play this all weekend. need to play both courses to appreciate. high risk high reward!!

Another 18 hole course right next to this one( RED) Nice short course with a few blind holes(5,8,11,12,) but 8 and 12 are not bad.
Tee pads are short but are concrete.
The signs are only numbers but easy to find.

Tee pads are only like 5'X3' but they are concrete.
The course criss crosses at 3 to 4, 6 to 7, 9 to 10, and again at 15 to 16. It would be hard to follow if you do not have the map of the course. I had the map so it was not a problem for me but other with out the map will have one.

Winter time is probable the best time to play this course. There was no bugs, Poison Ivy, or Oak, and the tall grass was dead so it was easy to find my disc that landed off the fairway. It would also be good to have someone spot on a couple of the holes but it was not bad during the winter, summer months would be a different story.
