Short but ok 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 22, 2021 Played the course:once

Pros:

+ 9 Discatchers and 9 Mach 3's

+ Decent mix of shot types. I had to throw a few BH and FH flexes along with a few simple hyzers and straight shots.

+ Half open and half wooded. I enjoyed this aspect of the course.

Cons:

- Some rubber tees were mixed throughout the course. While most holes were natural tees, the few rubber pads out there were too short to really play off of safely.

- No teesigns. The course has wood planks in the ground from you are supposed to tee from and those have the hole number and distance on it but nothing else. There are a few places where you get a bit confused as to what basket you are throwing to. uDisc's map helped a ton.

- Navigation was a bit confusing when you got into the woods. Even with uDisc's map I still had a hard time finding teepads.

- There were a few odd pin placements. Holes 8 and 9 come to mind here where it seemed like they just put the pin and fairway on a tight walking path but didn't do too much else to make it more playable.

Other Thoughts:

This course is very rough in the woods, meaning that it needs a little work to clean up all the loose brush and downed trees and branches. It seemed like the wooded holes just got cut recently and none of the brush got picked up. It didn't really make the course play any different but it make it look uncared for.

The course offers a lot of fun ace runs and birdie opportunities but will not test your distance. The open holes leave a lot to be desired and the wooded holes are just a bit too short. But it is what it is and its still fun to play.

I wouldn't recommend that you go out of your way to play here but if you are in town and are looking for somewhere to throw then you will be happy.
