Description
Champoeg Disc Golf Course features 15 old style Innova baskets playing through a grove of oak trees located inside a state park. Rubber mats are used for tee pads. The green grass on the course is regularly mowed. The land is mostly flat that causes some standing water in the wetter months of the year. According to Oregon.gov Champoeg is the oldest disc golf course in Oregon. A park entry fee is required: $5 daily day-use fee for each car or buy a 12-month permit for $30 or a 24-month permit for $50 at the visitor center. Annual passes can now be moved car-to-car. The park includes restrooms and picnics tables. Camping is available within walking distance of the course inside the park. It includes 79 campsites, 6 yurts, 6 cabins, group tent areas (3), group RV camp, 6 walk-in tent sites, and a hiker/cyclist camp.
