Pros:
-Decent rubber Tee-pads.
-Baskets in good shape.
-Decent diversity of shot shapes considering its mostly open design.
-Usually not too busy.
-OK use of numbers and Arrows to direct you to the next tee (considering there isn't any detailed signs here)
Cons:
-Some holes have been forced into the old layout in order to get this course up to 20 holes. There are 2 holes that are so short that you could jump putt them.
-Some Tee-pads could find themselves under fire from other holes.
-Lacking proper signage, i could see myself frustrated if i were coming here for the first time. (i actually witnessed a group today playing from 5's tee to 6's basket, and moving straight on to 7. Also, there are other holes i could see people accidentally skipping if they were new here.
Other Thoughts:
Overall I do enjoy this course. It has its problems with signage, and can be frustrating for groups new to the area. Despite this, i find myself stopping here on my way home from work because it's a pretty good design, and forces a number of different shot shapes. Also a good course for anyone playing solo, because its pretty hard to throw a shot that isn't immediately findable by yourself in the matter of seconds. I do feel like some holes don't need to be here, but i guess you could circumvent them and play the old layout if you just skip them and tee off from the old tee's. It has a nice diversity of open long drives, shorter mid/putter/fairway-driver finesse drives, and roller opportunities. I have yet to come here and found myself waiting, there are usually no more than a handful of groups here, and most have been good about letting faster groups play through.
