Designed for the Marines, families and patrons aboard Marine Air Ground Combat Center 29 Palms. Maps and loaner discs are available in the club house. Disc golf course is available for play 7 days a week, golf course and clubhouse days/hours change with the season.

The golf course and disc golf course are both open to the public, but you must first call Desert Winds Golf Course at (760) 830-6132 to get a tee time. Once you have scheduled a tee time you can go to the Main Entrance to get a temporary pass at the front gate. To get your pass in the Visitor Center you must provide State Issued ID, proof of insurance, and vehicle registration. You need military access to get through the West gate near the course, which is where Google maps leads you. If you are non military then Google the visitor center, which is where you get your pass, at 34.330463,-116.046275. From the Front Gate: Turn left at first light (Del Valle Rd.). In 2 miles, take first road on the left (3rd light, Berkley Rd). Take first right (Westside Rd) through Ocotillo housing to the golf course. First tee is located on the backside of the Golf Course hole #9's green.
