Pros:

-The baskets and teesigns are well built. The teesigns give all the information needed, and are very nicely designed.

-The tees are very good for a course this short. The appear sturdy and give good grip.

-The layout is very good and you have nice flow, no matter if you play the two additional holes (#X1,#X2) or not.
You start to play in a very wooded part and end up, having the last 4 holes rather open, which gives a nice contrast.

-Although the holes are rather short, they require accuracy and you are likely to need to test your putting skills.
Additionally hole #10 is very challenging as it is over 380ft and has a lot of OB to the right.

-This course is located inside a forest and around a elementary school. Traffic is no big problem during the weekend. You might have to wait for some people walking their dog, but thats quite rare. The holes that run along the school are closed during school hours.

-Bridges have been set up to facilitate walking straight to the basket/next tee at steep, slippery parts of the yourse.

Cons:

-You will need a spotter at certain holes, especialy in the summertime. Some holes run along the walkingpaths.

-It can get very muddy when it has rained for a couple of days. The tees are not slippery and the holes that have a gravel tee (from the walking path) are fine, but there might appear some puddles along the fairway.

-Tee X1 and X2 is a rather short asphalted square and not made for runups. Tee #2, #6 and #8 are on the walking path. Not too bad but not as good as the other tees.

-Although the course is pointed to beginners and advanced players, missing the fairway can result in a painful lie, inside thorny bushes.

-A large Map is missing so far. You need to download the coursemap here at the local club website.

-2 Holes are only playable after school hours (weekdays after 4pm).

Other Thoughts:

!!!-I tried to review this course as objective as i can, but i took part in planning and building this course!!!
It took a lot of work and a lot people to realise what we have now here in Iserlohn and we are kinda proud of it. Therefore i might rank this course higher than it deserves to be, but come and see for yourself.

-Many holes require a RHBH anhyzer/forehand.

-Parking is possible right next to the course, close to the "Quartierstreff" where you can rent/buy discs on weekdays, use the washroom or order refreshments.
