Great place to learn or play a chill round

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 16, 2023 Played the course:once

Pros:

I played this one after playing its Angry brother and was pretty tired but still dragged my corpse through and am overall pretty glad I did.

It's a shorter course with two pads per hole and a bench on every hole and almost every tee. Signs are basic but work well enough and there are only a couple of spots where you could get turned around.

As is the norm is Charlotte Innova Disccatchers are the baskets and per usual they were great. One had a broken chain but could easily be fixed and at 100% in no time.

The course is mainly shorter, flattish and wooded with a couple of longer more open holes topping out around 375. I liked the mix of lines, you need to bend a lot of shots and you have options but there to seem to be some "intended" lines.

You even have the pond coming into play in a couple of holes to add a bit of nervy play to a course of moderate challenge.

Cons:

For what it is and the people it serves it's very good. The only think that I didn't love was a couple of shots had some super close first available that your average beginner is going to have some trouble with, but it's all valid design and they will learn to deal with things like that more quickly.

Other Thoughts:

A great weekly league type of course, and if they did glow here it would be a blast. Fun, accessible track and though it's not an epic pro level course it's still quite worthy. And for what it's worth 10x more played when I was there then the Angry course.

The Ultimate Novice Course 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Jan 25, 2022 Played the course:once

Pros:

A birdieable woodsy course that provides a beginner-friendly counterweight to its grueling companion course.

-Amenities: My first taste of the Charlotte DGC in over a year was favorable. DISCatchers, small concrete tees, great tee signs, clear paths between holes. Some of the sign distances are questionable, but not catastrophically wrong.

-Multi-Tees: Two fully-stocked tee locations per hole. The shorts provide a very short, ace race experience. The longs are still very aceable, but more like a birdie race.

-Beginner Friendly: Eager Beaver is a superb example of a beginner, novice, and rec-level course. It's got shapes, but the shorts are pretty obstacle-free. It's fun for experienced players, gentle for new ones. It may well be the best example of this kind of course that I've seen in 235 courses.

-Shot Shaping/Gameplay: Predominantly wooded, with open shots every 3-5 holes. The fairways are all very clear. From the longs, holes are mostly in the low 200's, and by and large have pretty straightforward birdie lines. A few holes interspersed throughout are more difficult by length and/or tightness. One water carry, one big downhill, and a few interesting putting greens compliment the variety of straight and turning lines.

Cons:

Very few. Eager Beaver is extremely well put together.

-Blocked Tees: Holes (2), (11), and (16) have trees directly in front of the long tees. Thankfully, they're so close that you can throw around with a weird shape. It's still a major frustration to me, though.

-Boggy: Some spots of the course are soft and mud-prone. More of a mess than anything else.

-Scope: It's a rec-level course, and no harder. So yes, it doesn't have everything. If paired with Angry Beaver, it covers a lot, though.

Other Thoughts:

I've said it several times, I'll say it again - Eager Beaver is a great recreational course. It's got options, all the fixin's, and nice if not spectacular lines. Great course for a target audience, and it is a great compliment to Angry Beaver. Overall, compared to all courses, it's a solidly Good course to me.

2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 27, 2019 Played the course:once

Pros:

Short course with 2tee pads per hole. Shorts really short and beginner friendly. Navigation fairly simple. Signage good. Had only a short time to play and my son and I finished in under 90 minutes. Variety of shots utilized.

Cons:

Short so if you're looking to air anything out this isn't your course. Tee pads small but there is very little need for long run up due to length of course.

Other Thoughts:

With 2 courses on property, I'd have to say check it out if you're in the area. You're bound to have options depending on your skill level.

Family Fun 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 21, 2018 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Simple navigation, fairly short transitions from hole to hole.
Great course for those who are distance-challenged. Every hole 300' or less, most less than 250'.
You can see a definite line (or two) from every teepad. No poke-and-hope holes. Granted, some of the lines are tight, but they are definitely there to be seen.
Some holes with a little elevation, but nothing extreme.
Nice practice basket area.
Nice variety of holes. Not much repetition. You won't step up to the tee and say "Didn't we just play this hole?" Uphill, downhill, open, wooded, straight, straight, anny hyzer, etc.
Tee signs were nice.
Concrete tee pads are nice.
We were there on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in March and the course was not crowded at all.
Baskets are in good shape.

Cons:

Okay, some of the lines might be classified as too tight. I get that, but usually it will give you an alternate line.
Not many amenities, more benches would've been nice.
Tee sign distances are suspect. Don't take them for certain.
There is some water, so lost wet discs are possible, but it would take a very errant throw.

Other Thoughts:

This course appeals to me because I think it strikes a delicate balance between challenge and fun.
If you can hit your lines, it's fun, if not, it's a challenge.
Eager Beaver is meant to be a fun challenge, it succeeds with me and my son.
It's not a Pro course and doesn't try to be.
It tries to be a Intermediate training ground and it does that quite well.

Great compliment to Angry Beaver 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 16, 2017 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

+ 18 holes with highly visible yellow baskets in good shape.

+ Dual tees for each hole, and they're all well made.

+ Very informative tee signs depicting both tees for each hole, and directing you to the next basket.

+ Dead simple navigation, no map required.

+ Pretty good variety between lines demanded on each hole. Nice mix of straight shots, left turning shots and right turning shots. Has some minor elevation in play on some holes, such as #9, #14 and #17, that make things a little more interesting.

+ Nice mix of length. Manages to squeeze in a 367' long hole, a handful of 300'+ shots, all the way down to 127' for #15 short. The lengths fit the nature of the course, and combined with the trees forming technical lines strikes a good balance for its intended audience.

+ Nice mix of more open shots VS more technical lines. It never feels overly wooded for a rec level player, but avoids the boring, wide open feel of nearby elementary school 9 hole courses.

+ Very well defined fairways. This course sees a lot of use so everything is well broken in. There isn't anywhere you're at risk of losing a disc besides #15 which plays next to a water hazard, and if you manage to shoot really deep on #17 there's some thick rough ~30' behind the basket.

+ 3 practice baskets!

+ Situated in the same property as Angry Beaver, a long and technical 18 hole course that compliments the easier Eager Beaver very well. Playing them both in one trip is popular with the locals.

+ Plenty of ace runs.

+ Restrooms and water fountains on site.

Cons:

- If you are looking for a long, challenging course you're better off playing Angry Beaver. Angry is one of Charlotte's hardest courses, and in my opinion the toughest. Eager can be managed pretty easily with just a neutral mid and a putting putter if you play at an intermediate to advanced level.

- Not much in the way of doglegs. The holes that require a hyzer line tend to be pretty mellow, making the course feel like it leans on straight shots a little too much. Having some more bends in the fairways would teach better line shaping in my opinion.

- Despite being pretty wooded, the course lacks the feeling of isolation that even the adjacent Angry Beaver manages to offer. It's a popular course, so there's always other groups. The first few holes and the last three play next to the parking lot of park road. Many of the holes around #4-#8 play next to a rec center building and a second parking lot. The most secluded holes (10-14) border a neighborhood.

- Few benches. Shouldn't be a concern on such a short, shaded course, but I figured I'd mention it.

Other Thoughts:

Eager Beaver is a solid course aimed towards rec and intermediate players. It's the perfect compliment to Angry Beaver, whether you're looking for a quick warm-up or you want a morale boost after Angry beats you down.

I think Winget has a more refined shot selection and would choose that as my favorite short 18 hole course in the southern half of Charlotte, but I've always had fun at Eager Beaver.

This is a wonderful course for more casual players who are more about having a fun, stress free round than playing long and demanding courses. None of the holes are super demanding, the flow is great and there's barely any possibilities of losing a disc on an errant toss. Good place to play with a large group as the rounds move quick.

Elon Park is definitely a destination for Disc Golfers of all levels, as it offers something for everyone from beginner to high level pro.

Were it just Eager with no Angry, I wouldn't feel the same, but the two courses really pair together well, the same way Renny Gold and Renske compliment one another to cater to a wide array of skill sets.

I prefer playing Angry first with a full bag, then playing a quick round at Eager after taking all my discs over speed 7 out of my bag. It's a nice way to unwind mentally after such a demanding round, and who doesn't enjoy some ace runs?

Pros:

-Good signs and concrete tee pads - signs are much better and accurate than Angry Beaver
-Multiple tee pads
-Most of the holes are gettable - none are too hard
-Enjoyable for players of all ability
-Can play a round in a short time, but still feel good about getting a round in

Cons:

-Some holes seem too short
-Not very difficult for semi-experienced players, but still worth your time

Other Thoughts:

It is a decent course. It is very short, but I see it as a warmup for the Angry version. I'll play this one if I don't have time to play Angry Beaver. I can finish in 30-45 minutes, which is prefect for a pit stop on the way home from work. It is good for what it is, and it is a nice course to bring a beginner to without them getting too frustrated with the difficulty level.

Great warm up course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 12, 2012 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

This is a much shorter course than the angry beaver but it's a great warm up course. I usually play this before moving on to the more challenging side of the course. It offers a dryer approach to the game and allows for you to rip a few good drives. Your mid-range game will really step up nicely if you are an intermediate to advanced player. It allows you to fine tune your approaches and test the distance of your mid range throws.

Cons:

It's short, but take it for what it is and the course will play just fine.

Well broken in 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 8, 2016 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

This is one of the most popular course(s) in Charlotte, based on the number of players using it; there are a lot of casual players on non-school days or after school (high school) and is an intermediate level but fun course, The more advanced players would probably enjoy its next door course--the Angry Beaver. Short tees (probably a 2.7-2.9 rating) on the Eager Beaver is a 45-55 minute play while the long tees (probably a 3.3-3.5 rating) take about 65-75 minutes, both without crowds. The new tee signs on both layouts are well appreciated. Both tees require hitting your line on the tee shots (d*mn Stan McDaniel trees)--hit the line and have a good birdie chance, miss you will need to scramble to save par.

Cons:

If after a challenge, play Angry Beaver (it could easily make you mad) but newbies will be challenged on Eager Beaver. Many previous reviews commented on poor signage; this is no longer an issue. The course flows well, but if you follow the DGCR course maps, a reconfiguration scrambled the distances on holes 4, 5, and 6.

During crowded times, expect delays from novice groups ahead of you.

There are really no memorable signature holes, but there is a remarkable variety of required shots overall. Still leaves you a little thirsty for those 1-2 super holes.

Other Thoughts:

Both the Eager and Angry Beaver courses are named after a long-time Disc Golf Hall-of-Famer, Alan Beaver, who was instrumental in allowing the Charlotte Club to get access and permission to build 17+ tournament courses in the county.

Eager Beaver is a really good warm-up course for taking on its harder next-door cousin.

Eager Beaver 2+ years

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:May 24, 2013 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Eager Beaver is located in Elon Park and is much more approachable than its angry little brother. This course features concrete tees, with both long and short tees at every hole - all of which throws towards an Innova DISCatcher basket. Beginners and intermediate golfers will feel at home here. Advanced players might like to use this as a place to warm up before tacking Angry Beaver if they feel throwing at the practice basket isn't enough of a warm up.

There's a decent amount of variety here, with a good mixture of everything. A nice amount of both open and wooden holes that require different types of shots off the tee. This makes this a great place to teach a beginner the fundamentals and physics of the sport.

One of the most unique aspects of this course is that one of the split fairway holes, Hole 15 long, has a water carry with a nice hyzer line. Many of the holes have multiple lines, allowing beginners to have the chance to find out what kinds of shots work best for them.

This is not a long course and it plays fairly quick. Allowing for people to likely get a full round in after work if they wanted to. There are also plenty of potential aces to be had on this course!

Cons:

This course, by design is a beginner course. Rarely will anything other than a midrange or putter need come into play here. Which means, while its a great place for a beginner to learn to play, they might not learn how to use a driver effectively. The fact that it's next to Angry Beaver could be both a good or bad thing depending on your experience. I've seen unsuspecting beginners hop over to Angry Beaver after finishing off Eager Beaver and get bitten. It's hard to see someone's morale get shredded that way.

Parking can get tight here, because both courses share a fairly small parking lot. I have yet to find a restroom facility or water fountain, but they could exist somewhere - and just aren't marked very well.

The tee pads are all short and narrow, which I do not like very much. While I rarely need to step very much for my drives here, I would still appreciate larger tee pads. Also there is not much variation in the tee pads, the long tees are generally just 25-50 ft further back.

Other Thoughts:

Eager Beaver will always, and I mean always have a place in my heart. One day some friends and I were going to play 63 holes of Disc Golf, and we opened things out with the long tees at Eager Beaver. My round opened just about as terribly as it could have possibly ever gone on this course. Then on Hole #10 I had had enough of the course, so I stepped onto the tee pad and just threw my disc out of sight without taking anytime to aim or set my drive up. Within the next 5-6 seconds we heard the distinctive "chinking" sound associated with the chains. My first ace!

I am bumping my initial rating for this course up slightly to a 3.0 - along with a couple of my other early reviews, I may have undervalued the course initially. While I still wouldn't say it is a destination course, on its own, paired with Angry Beaver this makes for an incredibly fun day of disc golf that is worth traveling for.

Solid, fun beginner/practice course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Oct 20, 2015 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

- Reasonably varied layout, with some open holes and some tree'd up tight lines too. Nothing too long - and that's FINE. Not every course needs to be beasted out. The shorts are a perfect beginner/kids course. The longer tees are a nice practice run/confidence builder.
- Favorite holes were:
* No. 1 - a great slightly downhill opener
* No. 8 - cool split fairway
* No. 17 - Gorgeous sweeping downhiller with lake on right
- Good, visible discatchers on every hole. Fairways are well worn in.
- Great course to practice on or to bring kids to.
- Two sets of tees are nice.
- Course is in a good area, and is fairly well trafficked.
- Great three basket practice area.

Cons:

- Could be better marked. Some signs are broken/down.
- Concrete pads are on the short side.
- Couple of holes seem repetitive.
- Probably couldn't hurt to cut a few more trees down, esp on the back nine. Nos. 11 & 15 come to mind as a bit jail-y

Other Thoughts:

This is in many ways a throwback to old timers like Kilborne, and as someone who used to play 10-15 yrs ago and is recently back into the game - I love it for what it is. I can see this course - along with it's angry partner - being my home base.

Perfect Starter Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Oct 6, 2017 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

My disc golf addiction was born and grew at the Eager Beaver.

As previous reviews have stated, this is a great beginner-friendly course. There are two sets of tees, with the "super shorts" coming in at less than 200 feet per hole, on average. Even though it's a very beginner-focused course, it's still a good one that intermediate players will find enjoyable as a warm-up round before the Angry Beaver (or a cool-down to help repair a shattered ego).

From the long tees, there are some challenging, technical shots here. There's a good mix of tightly wooded and open holes. My favorite hole is #17, which has a huge, over-sized tee pad and throws downhill, with the lake off to the right.

The other big pro for me on this course is the beauty of the park. The setting is a mature forest, so playing in the fall with the changing leaves is just about a perfect afternoon in North Carolina.

Cons:

This isn't a challenging course, especially by Charlotte standards. If you're looking for something more advanced, hop next door to the Angry Beaver or any of Charlotte's other, much more challenging courses.

There can be crowds here, depending on when you plan.

Other Thoughts:

If you're looking for a pro- or advanced-level course, the Eager Beaver isn't the one for you. But if you're just starting out or want to introduce someone to the game, this is a darn near perfect course.

Creative short course! 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jan 8, 2015 Played the course:once

Pros:

The short course at this facility is appropriately named Eager Beaver, and it would make me eager to play more disc golf if I were new to the game. I would not only introduce people to the game here, but would also play this course on every visit in addition to its Angry cousin.

Two tee pads per hole create two experiences here. The short tees are perfect for beginners or anyone looking to have a fun and casual short game. The long tees usually add an extra level of challenge (sometimes technical, and sometimes in extra length only). It's an even mix of open, moderately wooded, and tightly wooded holes. The designer cleverly made some of the short tees an open run to the pin, while the long tees in the same holes have just enough trees in the line to add some pucker factor. Most of the holes are fairly short, but there are a few longer ones and some of the shorter ones (especially #8 - a nasty wall of trees blocking you from both tees) will punish you if you hit a tree early.

Cons:

Things are pretty tight, space- wise, and it seemed there would be many ways to get hit by discs coming from adjacent fairways.

Other Thoughts:

This course may not "wow" more experienced players, but I found it to be very a enjoyable way to feel better about my game after the Angry Beaver handed me my arse. I think there's a place for these types of courses and am glad they have made courses for a variety of skill levels. The only thing lacking at Elon is a mid-grade course to balance out the Easy (Eager) and Hard (Angry). But that's asking a lot, I suppose.

Pros:

COURSE PLAY:
Eager Beaver is a great course to play a quick round of 18 and one the few disc golf courses in South Charlotte. There are short tees and long tees for every hole to appeal to different skill levels. There's about a 50/50 mix of wooded and open holes and a good variety of left and right shots. Most baskets are visible from the tee and not blind. The next tee is typically visible from hole to hole which makes navigation easy. The course is very broken in with very visible paths. The OB areas are very clear with no brier bushes or tall weeds. There are no marked mandos on this course. There are a few holes in the back 9 where water could come into play but you'd really have to lob your disc to land in the pond. Hole 17 is a lot of fun with a wide open playing field and down hill! Don't forget to bring some bug spray and watch out for spider webs in the woods.

AMENITIES:
Concrete tees in great condition with benches at some holes. There are currently no trash cans at the tees. The park has 3 practice baskets by the entrance/parking area and there are available bathrooms in the large building next to the parking lot. Parking is a little small but there are a few alternate places you can park as well.

Cons:

A lot of signage is missing, but its because of vandalism. Being next to a school I can only imagine kids goof off on the course and kick the posts down and steal the signs. Thankfully most baskets are visible and hole and par info can be found on dgcoursereviews.com

Other Thoughts:

This course is very popular and can be busy at times. Do not let this discourage you from playing here, but plan a good time that is not right after school lets out or when typical 9-5ers get off work.

Easiest in Charlotte 2+ years

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Oct 13, 2012 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

-Elon park is a disc golf course in South Charlotte is the most fair. It's mostly for players who just got into disc golf and if you have, this course is for you.
-Nice teepads that are long enough for a drive to get you close. They are about 7 feet long because this is the shortest in Charlotte.
-The discatchers are in great shape. They aren't dirty or anything like the ones at Eastway.
-The course is easy to follow and it's easy to find each tee since there are tee signs.
-There is a practice basket close to hole four. Four is in the more wooded part of the course. It is straight past hole #6.
-There is a good use of elevation on this course, the first two are downhill and three is uphill, so is nine but that's all I will say, I want this to be a surprise so it's funner and you won't know want the next hole is like.
-I really liked the layout. For example holes four and eight have two routes and a straight shot won't get you close. You can either take left or right. #15 on the longs is a super fun teeshot. You have to throw a hyzer over the lake but you can also flick it out on the route to the left if you just started. I also agree with my bro BraveThrower43. #17 is a fun, downhill shot.
-I did the children's tournament here and Out of Bounds is taken lightly for example there are no mandos and the roads are not OB. Except the parking lot and the lake on #15 long. I was in the 15-17 division so on the holes divisible by three, the older people like me played the longs on those six holes.
-The course is very well maintained. People don't litter on the fairways or woods on this course. Y'all keep it that way.
-There is a good chance for an ace. I hit #11's basket and some teens made aces.
-The tournaments here are cheap, my total cost was only $22.26. Lunch is free and the other tournaments I have done at Sugaw and Boyd were expensive. Sugaw was about $45 and $53 for Boyd. OB is taken majorly and it's not worth spending your money unless you're skilled. For you player with children 7-17, y'all should bring your children to do the tournaments here in October if they like disc golf. It's worth the money since penalty strokes aren't major. Don't get your children to try a tournament unless you know they are ready because the woman in charge of the tournament at Sugaw was a real piece of work and took OB too strong. If you think they are ready and are around my age (15). I guess it would be fine to do a bigger tournament but this is good for any kid who likes disc golf.

Cons:

-Hole 8 is really annoying because of the split fairway. Both are awfully tight and require big hyzers, so it's hard to reach despite it being so short.
-Another con is that there are no benches on any holes. There is a log on #10 but that's it. This course has been around for four years now and it still doesn't have benches. I don't think there are any at Angry Beaver either.
-I only remember one trashcan on the course. It's to the left of hole #7's tee. -#16's fairway has a tall light in the way and it possibly will mess with your head. It was hit today and if you hit right to it, you could catch a roller and there is a chance you landing in the lake. I liked this hole but it may be a con to beginners but it's only minor.
-If you like high hole quality, you won't be pleased. None of the holes are all that fun for advanced players.

Other Thoughts:

I liked this course because it is fair but fun. It does need benches and #6 isn't a good design and #18 isn't anything memorable as a finishing hole but it's still a good course. I loved that there was some elevation, the unique designs, the scenery and my favorite hole was #15 long. This course is more isolated than most courses in Charlotte. Go to the largest parking lot and be sure you are on Ardrey Kell road. To get to this course, you past the Angry Beaver. Keep in mind, that the Angry Beaver baskets are white and the baskets here at Eager Beaver are yellow.
I did say that there is a chance in getting in ace but don't come here and expect the ace. Come to have fun and just go for a good score. An ace doesn't come easily and it doesn't if you really expect it. This is worth the play if you live anywhere in North Carolina or if you are on vacation in North Carolina. In the reviews saying "Come here if you want an ace". They mean it's more likely to happen than an average disc golf course. My friend Joe got 16 birdies in a row but didn't ace but got closest to the pin on many holes. He has made four aces because he comes to have fun. I am not guaranteeing you will get an ace if you have lots of fun but it's not gonna happen if you expect it or high likely not. This course is short but doesn't promise an ace but it's a great course.
Enough said about aces, the Angry Beaver sounds a bit more fun than this course since there is much more variety there. If you plan to play that course after this one, bring a disc that floats because there is water. I didn't do a hole by hole review because I think I took away the surprise due to plenty of thumbs down. Send me a private message if you want to know about every hole.

Eager Beaver 2+ years drive by

Pros:

This course is a lot of fun to play from beginner to intermediate throwers. Dual tee pads offer an additional challenge. Short tee pads make the course ideal for beginners and kids. The long tee pads do demand accurate throws through narrow, wooded fairways. For RHBH throwers, there are plenty of holes to work on your left to right fades...or practice that forehand! There is forgiveness on the wooded holes to still shoot well if you decide to chop at some trees with your disc.

Cons:

I don't have too many cons for the course. It's laid out well. It has dual tee pads. The baskets are all in good shape. The course is well maintained.
The course does get crowded. If you're playing with a group, that's OK. If you're solo and just looking at getting a quick 18 in, be mindful that this is a popular course.

Other Thoughts:

Several reviewers have stated it, but Eager is a great course to warm up on before Angry hands it to you, or to gain some confidence back after Angry has handed it to you! Lots of fun to play!

Pros:

Much like Bailey on the north side of town this course is the place to take someone who is just starting. I saw a group of 7 or 8 kids and there parents using lids having a blast on this course from the shorts. It may be the easiest course when you play all short pads.

The longs are not all beginner friendly and can be a fun challenge to the more experienced players before or after they play angry.

Teepads are good enough for what shots are there because you dont need a massive run-up for most of these holes.

Hole 17 is a lot of fun to throw!

Cons:

Some teepads get close to baskets which I'd imagine was tough to avoid in such a small area.

Although its pretty straight forward there is very little if no directional signage.

Very few trashcans. and no benches

It can be confusing to newcomers which course is which because the first few holes of angry arnt very long so theyre thinking" man I can do this" then holes 4 and 5 hit them hard.

Other Thoughts:

This course is really a fun play and an accuracy challenge from the longs. Also if you are traveling through it is a nice warmup or cooldown before/after Angry has its way with you. Its worth the play since angry is right there nearbye.

Personal Favorite 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Jul 22, 2012 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Good course for beginners. Clear fairways and good layout. Discatchers all in good shape. Good mix of open and wooded holes. Short tees are fair for beginners; long tees can challenge seasoned players. Practice basket in parking lot is a plus.

Cons:

Can get crowded unless you play early or off peak times. Some of the rough can be unforgiving. Signage on last few holes missing, but does not affect play.

Other Thoughts:

This is a course I will play more often, as it is great for finesse practice. Good, quick rounds are possible. My personal favorite so far!
