Small town course 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Mar 21, 2015 Played the course:once

Pros:

Biggest Pro - very small town providing a disc golf course - Kudos!

Rust resistant baskets.

Used what elements they had: hill, obstacles, trees.

I appreciated the holes were not all the same length. Mix from 185 - 570 is actually pretty good for a course of this caliber.

Cons:

No tees marked. For the course to be in the ground for 4(?) years, they really need SOMETHING to mark where to tee from.

After 4 years in the ground, no maps, nothing? Spent 1/3 of the time looking for the next basket as the first basket you see isn't necessarily the one you are using.

Other Thoughts:

The design really could have been a lot worse. It could have just been back and forth. The designer tried to use what was available. They deserve credit for that.

If you are looking to increase your course count, then I think it is worth playing. Or, if you need to stretch your legs, it is worth it. If you lived in the area, it does provide a practice area. Otherwise, it really is one big hyzer after another for the most part.
