Don't drive to this course 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 4, 2019 Played the course:once

Pros:

It does have baskets/tees/signs

Cons:

Everything. They did not use the trees near the front at all. There that would have been fun. Could have had 1st 3 holes use trees. Then you have stupid long holes on back 800 and 1000+ feet through over grown pastors. Could have made 18 holes or just put the 9 near the trees in the front of the park.

Other Thoughts:

Please do not go out of your way to play here. I did. I should have read pizzagod review 1st. This is pretty non-enjoyable

Pros:

Has tee signs
Has cement tee pads
Baskets are in decent shape
Bridges over drainage ditches

Cons:

not mowed very often
does NOT use land well at all.

What is up with the last 3 holes?

Other Thoughts:

No top players would ever play here, why would you attempt to build a 4500ft 9 hole course? On top of that, several of the holes were long for no reason.

Ok, here is my deal with this course. Why put in long holes for a 9 hole course that no one is going to come play? I would think you want people to play your small town course. When you put 1000ft holes going across an open field that you don't mow very often, no one is going to play here.

First off, why not use the trees near the entrance in the park for a hole? There are no tree's on this course, why waste the area that actually has tree's?

The course actually skirts the edge.

The most notable hole on the course is hole #6, it is a true par 4 hole with a nice green area. but there is not much in obstacles. The only area to avoid is on your right till the last 50ft of the hole when you have rough to the left and right and behind the basket.

Hole 5 is also an OK hole, but it is roughly the same as the last but the fairway has a large mound of dirt like a dam on the fairway. It really does not come into play and is not used for the course at all.

Then you have the 800+ ft hole 7 where the only tree's are off to the right, turns out to be someones backyard.

Then you have the "Par 2" hole 8, 200ft level, no trees, no nothing between you and the basket?

Then the monster hole, 1000ft though a field that does not get mowed very often.

This course was a waste of basket.

Would I play here again? NO!!!!
Would I recommend others playing this course? Hell No, don't waste your time.

This course should be redesigned, take out the 3 holes in the field, use the tree's near the entrance to the park. Maybe clear a hole out of the woods on the edges of the course. You can still put a long hole hugging the tree line throwing from hole 7 tee are to basket 9 put closer to the trees. That would be a decent long hole. Design the course to be family friendly, then you would have people actually playing this course.
