Pros:
The location is one of a kind, located on a peninsula in the Elbe river on the premises of a historic water filtration facility that has been turned into an open-air museum / bird sanctuary. The baskets are new and the entire area is well maintained. The 20 some filtration ponds with their little 1920s pump stations now housing kormorants and different kinds of waterfowl provide a nice backdrop for your shots. Attached to the museum is a small Cafe. You can rent discs at the museum shop for a small fee. If you bring your own discs, you are encouraged to leave a small donation. The staff was very friendly.
Cons:
This is merely a course. The 4 baskets are on 3 ft high grass banks with almost no trees or other natural obstacles. You have 9 tees, but it's basically all short, open shots and you have to pay attention for other visitors that stroll the premises. The course is only accessible during business hours (10 a.m. - 6 p.m. in the summer and 10 - 5 p.m. in fall and winter), but you might wanna check their homepage, as sometimes they host events and shut down the discgolf facility for such. Especially, as this is not as easy to reach other than by car or bike.
