Pros:
- Disc return box
- Tee signs
- Variety of challenges (elevation, some holes having elevated baskets or risky birdie putts, narrow or multiple lines to basket, tight rewarding fairways on some holes with very good use of natural boundaries)
- Maintenance
Cons:
- Lack of waypoint signs and next tee signage (would help for holes 3 and 4, 7 and 8, and 12 and 13). On some holes you need to look for a red arrow spray painted on a rock
- Two tees next to one another
Other Thoughts:
Overall, one of the best courses I have played in Finland; a great mix of fun and challenges. Most of the holes are easy to find, but waypoints would have helped in some cases. Some confusion after teeing off at hole 12; accidentally played hole 13 basket. In the summertime, bring water for sure. If you come by bus, it will be a bit of a hike to the course (most folks I saw there came by car or bike). Added bonus: nearby in the city is a good beach and picnic area. Definitely play the course if you get a chance or if you like dry terrain type courses, for example the course in Ylöjärvi.
