Pros:
-Nice little beginners course in a small public park of a tiny village.
-The area is quite scenic and has a good variety of shots to offer, measured by its size.
A small lake comes in play twice, a bit of difference in elevation is given and a island-hole
adds some difficulty.
-Locals added 3 tees (with small signs) to make this a 12 hole course.
-Baskets and Signs were in great condition. A Course Map is on-site.
Cons:
-Sadly there are no real tees. I slipped several times during play as the
ground was too wet and muddy.
-There is a playground inside the park that is way too close to fairway #3 and basket #4.
I would feel really uncomfortable playing these two holes specifically, when the play-area is used by kids.
-As this park is really small, traffic might be a problem here.
Other Thoughts:
I would recommend this course to beginners or a bit more
advanced players as it has a nice layout, sightly surroundings and a bit of challenge to offer.
Again, the park is well used for its size.
The lake does come in play, yet the layout is fair and beginner-friendly.
Ambitious players might look for one of the other two courses (Grebenstein & Calden) in this area.
