Pros:
-The course offers the best tees i have seen on a dutch course by far. Nice long turf-tees. I also liked the low "gravestone-like" teesigns.
-The equipment was new and in perfect condition.
-Located inside a large public park, this course has 3 layouts to offer (Pro,Intermediate and Beginners), so the course provides a good experience for players of different skill levels.
-The pin positions are picked, nicely. The layout features different shots and also a little bit of change in elevation.
-Water comes into play a bit on certain holes.
Cons:
-After a period of rain, it gets very muddy, almost swampy i would say, at certain areas. Sadly, this is the case for many dutch courses.
-Park van Luna is a puplic park with many other attractions, a dog training area being one of them.
Traffic will be a problem here on sunny days/wekkends.
-Many of the holes are wide open shots with little to no obstacles.
-A large course map is missing so far. Without Udisc u are lost.
Other Thoughts:
-Another nice course in the netherlands. Its deffinitely recommendable for all kinds of players due to the different layouts.
-I talked to the course designer onsite and he told me that the course is going to be pay to play next year.
-Try to avoid the course during the weekend or on super sunny or super rainy days. ;-p
