Great location for the southwest valley folks. Beautiful course with great signs and baskets. Good mix of long and short. Play the elevated tees on 6 and 10 for extra distance. A good mix of park lawn and rough field holes. City does a good job of cutting the weeds down in the field holes. Very welcome addition and the city did a good job with the space available.

There are some holes that are too tight for high-speed drivers and require finesse with a mid-range or fairway to stay in-bounds. 1,2,3,4,7,8,12,13,14,15 require controlled shots and the rest let you rip.

Herriman City had to close this course due to continued interference with neighboring resident yards. I've spoken with Herriman and they hope to find a new site for a course within the city.

Very happy to have this course in the southwest part of the Salt Lake valley. Kudos to Herriman City!

There are some fun holes.
Fairly wide open holes, nothing too long.
Most range around 200-250'.
There was no one else playing the course while I was there.
Good place to practice control shots.

Most holes play right along the walking path.
Hole 12 was especially rough, as the basket is blind from the longer position, and you could easily have someone walk into a disc, without seeing them.
Lots of small children at the park, really close to hole 10.
Would be really easy to lose a disc on a hyzer into someone's yard.
None of the baskets are marked, so there's a bit of guesswork involved as to where you are going.
Some of the holes have a long walk between them.

Watch out for small children, and walkers.
Also, saw a horse out while playing.
Use extreme caution and courtesy to the neighbors.
First 5 holes are northwest of the parking lot, 6 starts next to the stairs by the parking lot.
Arrows on paths point you in the correct direction, although some of the holes have a lot of walking between.

Some holes utilize elevation changes.
Directions are painted onto paths.
Most holes use the path for tees, which makes for good footing.

Holes 7 and 10 were pretty good.

Some longer walks between holes (5 to 6, 7 to 10, 14 to 15).
Many holes are immediately adjacent to backyards, horse pens, soccer fields, sheds, or other obstacles. This requires most disc golfers to play more careful, especially since neighborhood complaints of people retrieving discs from backyards have already closed holes 1, 8, 9, and 18.
While the path makes for good footing, the best tee placements would usually have been off the path, which would have made for a better course design.

If holes 1, 8, 9, and 18 were to reopen with better locations (there's a good possibility on the hillside by the parking lot for hole 18), then the course might be a bit better, but always having to adjust throws to avoid losing discs in backyards makes this course not as fun. The course would probably work better as a shorter course playing only in the locations without backyards.
