Gorgeous Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 4, 2015 Played the course:once

Pros:

Beautiful scenery. clean course. nice tee signs

Cons:

too short-only 9 holes

Other Thoughts:

This is a great little course that is slightly out of the way but worth it if you're relatively close. It has some gorgeous scenery around it that just make it a great course to play. No tee pads isn't that big a deal since the tee signs are easy to see and are all on mostly flat ground. Only complaint is that it isn't closer and that it is only 9 holes.

First! 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Mar 7, 2013 Played the course:once

Pros:

-Good variety in shots.
-Rolling hills throughout. No steep up/down shots, but no completely flat shots.
-Trees are sparse, but placed just right to make somewhat challenging.
-While the tees are just grass, they're all flat with enough room for a run-up.
-Good hole length ranging from 200 to 400.

Cons:

-Only 9 holes.
-In the middle of nowhere.

Other Thoughts:

I was proudly the first person to ever play this course. It's really not a bad 9 hole course on the grounds of a camp center. After checking in at the office, the retreat center is about a quarter of a mile down the road. Be careful on Hole #1. There's a pond just to the right of the basket that you can't see from the tee. I know it's kind of far from any cities/interstates, but this is one of the better 9 holes I've played.
