Pros:
-Located inside a public park inside Budweis, this course has scenic
attractions and a challenging layout to offer.
The combination of guardian trees and long distances provide an ambitious play,
pointed more towards intermediate/advanced players.
Hole #1 to #4 are more straight open shots, #5 to #7 are more technical as the run
through a very wooded area, and #8 to #9 felt like a good combination of accuracy
and length.
-Baskets, tees and teesigns were in great condition.
A course-map is right next to hole #1.
-The park itself is quite nice with an artificial lake and old trees.
-As the course/park is just inside Budweis, it is very accessible (car, bus, feet).
Cons:
-I had problems with the flow and layout for some reason.
I can't really explain what the problem was, but i wasn't feeling it?!
In my eyes the park offers more possibilities.
-Although the layout is not really bad, i felt a lack in variety and elevation.
There are certain passages where you have to walk a bit to get to the next tee.
-The grass was quite high, especially on the first 3 holes.
-People use this park for recreation, so traffic might be a problem. There were many people with dogs, and a few sitting on the meadows. A single person sat under a tree on the fairway.
-Some small ditches that carry a bit of water cross certain fairways.
Other Thoughts:
When you are in Budweis you should give this course a try.
It was reasonable but not more.
I would not recommend to drive here just for Disc Golf.
