Pros:
It's free, easy to navigate, and there are some decent elevation-change throws. I also like the park that it's a part of--it was cool to see the mountain biking, tennis, basketball, and other amenities nearby. It made it feel like a community of people, each picking their own outdoor activity of choice.
Cons:
Instead of playing disc golf, it felt more like Don't-Lose-Your-Disc golf. I played in a group of 6, with myself and another veteran and 4 newbs. For the 4 newbs, it was really hard to not lose a disc. We had to spread out all over each hole to have eyes on wherever it landed. That really made the whole experience a lot less enjoyable. I think if it had been just me and the other veteran, it wouldn't have been nearly as bad, but the whole experience was on the frustrating side.
Other Thoughts:
It's awesome that a place like Park City with so many outdoor activities has a disc golf course. And it's even cooler that it's part of such an awesome outdoor activity center. I just wish the course was more accessible for players who are new to the sport.
