There's a backhand route around the right side of the first pine tree just in front of the short tee. Played wide enough it keeps you out of the creek and avoids the low hanging branch on the straight shot.

I have thrown both forehand and backhand on this hole and decided I prefer forehand. Yes there is the chance of going OB in the dog park but it keeps me from going OB in the pond where I will lose my disc.

Sometimes this hole tends to get in my head, especially when the park is busy. Rather than risk going OB in the creek, I will throw a putter short and just take the par.
