The official fairway plays to the left of the line of trees and right of the bushes, but you can take a wide RHBH/LHFH hyzer to the right (to either side of the first tree) and get plenty of distance, and it may give you a better look at the long pin.

You could try to throw your drive over the trees, but you won't get much distance and the gap in the middle is better for any shot shape.

The lake is the biggest danger here. Play your first shot plenty low, and don't worry too much about going in the water - the lake is pretty far down there. If you're not confident about getting over on your second or third shot, you can bail out to the right, which still gets you closer to the pin but is a safer shot.

If you're playing to the longer pins, the more distance you get off the tee, the more open your second shot will be. If you're playing for birdie, the first shot is about distance, and the second is about accuracy.

Unless you have the power to go over, playing under the trees is the best option, and treat this hole as a par 4. On the right pin, there's a wide route to the right that gets you more distance off the tee because it's more open, but does require more total distance.

This hole surprisingly has a lot of room to work with, no matter how you throw off the tee. If you finish left or right, it's not a big deal. Getting lots of distance is the way to shave strokes off this hole.
