I just logged in on the forums but I'm not logged in on the main site, what gives?

Unfortunately the forums and the site require separate logins since they run off separate databases. Once you login to the site/forums and check "Remember Login" you shouldn't be prompted to login again on that particular computer.
On the plus side, clicking "Sign Out" in the main menu will log you out of both the forums and the site.
