Printable scorecards are here!

It's something I had been putting off but then Clark (http://www.dgcoursereview.com/profile.php?id=8881) was kind enough to share an awesome base to build the feature off of which made getting things up and running a lot easier. The only downside is it's not PDF so you may have to fiddle with your page setup a little when printing to get it to look right (mainly just change the page orientation to landscape mode).

It works great for 18 hole courses. Longer courses tend to stretch well past the printable area so I will work on splitting the scorecards into blocks of 18 for those situations. This is version 1.0 :)

You'll find the links to the scorecards on the hole info page for each course towards the bottom. They're tough to miss. As always, let me know if you run into any bugs and I'll try to take care of them ASAP.

Looks great!

I'm not sure if there is a way, but is it possible to generate multiple cards on the same page so we don't have to print out multiple pages for more than one person?

If there is a way to do it on my end I'll happily do that. I tried copy/paste but that didn't seem to work.

There isn't a way to do multiple cards at the moment. If I split the long courses into 2 row then multiple cards on one page might be a little tough.

Awesome idea Tim! Thanks for another feature that adds to the list of things that draw people here and keep them coming back!

As a developer, I know how tough it is to do quick turnaround with features, but this was really fast. Bravo!

Just printed my first card and it's awesome. Now everyone needs to make sure their local course hole information is updated so the cards for that course will have par and distance.

Another cool thing might be to give a choice of either this style of scorecard or a multi-player style of card. That way someone with a family of five, like myself, can just carry one card instead of five seperate cards.

That would be a pretty big card if I included the putts/penalties columns. It could be something to look into at some point though.

I too would rather have a card with multiple people rather than the extra spaces for putts and penalties. I circle my penalties anyway, and most people I know who track putts just make a small mark in the box for the hole for any missed putts.

Where do we access these score cards? Apparently I missed that part. = )

Check the hole info tab of any course.. the links are at the bottom there.

It's the little printer icons at the bottom of the hole info tab on the course page. You can print a card for any color tee.

EDIT: Dang it, just a little slow.

ie 4-1-1

...but if you didn't include the putts/penalties rows and added two more rows for scores, instead of the two current bottom rows, you could fit a five player scorecard on the same size you have now. Not only would it be a five player card, it would also be a card that one person could re-use four times. Think of the trees you could save. :)
