The Omega Supersoft is made from the small bead Aviar mold, so it's very similar to the Aviar Putt & Approach. For me it is more comfortable in the hand than an Aviar as the soft plastic does not mold up for as tall a disc as you would have with standard DX and the rim is a bit more shallow. The Soft Magent is oddly low speed overstable and really does not have a lot of glide unless you can get some height on your throw. The Omega Supersoft has more glide and won't fall off as hard left on a low speed putt than a Magnet. That being said, I prefer the Magnet, as it does not blow by the basket as far when you miss. When you putt like I do, that's important!
Off the tee they are fairly similar in flight. The Magnet still needs more height to get the glide needed to reach the distance you can get with Omega Supersoft, but both are versatile enough to be used on sweeping anhyzers, strong hyzers and straight shots that finish slight left.
So really, they are very similar discs. They are both slow, slightly overstable putt and approach discs that can be used for the same shots with about the same results. If one feels better in your hand, than I'd go with that one. Really, I don't like either one as they are both too soft for me.

Only thrown a Magnet a few times, and for me was more stable than I prefer, I keep an Omega ss in my bag. Personally I throw Blowflies myself, but when wind comes up, or I need a spike hyzer putt, I go to my omega.

I have both discs. I was using the Omega earlier this year, but then won a soft magnet at the Carrollton Open this year. I have been using the Soft Magnet ever since. They are very, very similar discs. I agree with Three Putts comments, the SM has less glide and wont fly past the basket like the Omega will. To me they both feel almost the same in the hand (the plastic). Both equally grip the chains nicely. The SM has a small Vertical lip on the bottom that is the only noticeable visual difference to me. I dont throw my Omega anymore during the game, I only use it during putting practice because it is so similar to the SM.

Pretty generic experiment but I played two simultaneous rounds at Community Park with both putters (only) and the Omega won by two strokes, so that's the one in my bag now:

I think I am going to try something like that this week.

Community Park (http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=938) isn't a pitch & putt, but it's not that long either. I was still surprised to see that I scored pretty close to my average (at the time) just using a putter for the whole round.

ss omega is better! its tough to have the confidence to make a putt if your scared of blowing by the basket - plus it sure is nice to stand still putt from 50-60 feet with ease
