Anyone got any thoughts on this disc?

I just switched to an flx challenger last week. So far I have been really pleased. It is just overstable enough to hold a line at full power and hopefully it will stay just like it is now for some time due to the flx's bendability. I actually almost had an ace with it yesterday. It went on a line and it the basket about 2 inches low. I was hoping for a wedgie like you posted a while back, but it bounced off.

love the soft challenger and i have used one for over a year and it will always have a place in my bag. the flx challenger is too understable for me, i felt it would be more like a soft but it was completely different. i feel the flx flies like an apx. the innova pig is an awesome disc off the tee.

I loved the feel of a S.C. from the 1st time I picked one up. It's buttery soft. I figured a disc that felt this good would be worth looking in to. I also figured the softness would keep it from deflecting too hard off of tree hits. I bought one & played a round with it. It turned out to be a bit inconsistant for me. I added a bunch of strokes real quick to my round that I normally wouldn't have. I need to practice in a field just a little bit more to figure this one out.

My opinion only: There are three similar discs to choose from in this category...The Soft Wizard, the Soft Challenger and the JK Aviar X. All of them are overstable putters with a big bead that are fairly similar in flight. I find the Wizard to be longer off the tee and the Challenger to be shortest off the tee. So of the three I'd rate them Wizard-JK Aviar-Challenger. However, I like all three. They are probably the three best putters on the market IMO, so you really can't go wrong with any one.

Soft Challengers are great, very sticky when they hit metal. Like Three Putt said, they are very similar to the Aviar - but I feel they are not nearly as overstable as the wizard. The soft magnet is another good option if you like the challeners.

For a long time I used the soft challengers exclusively. These discs get tremendous glide if you throw loft putts. They are excellent for anhyzer putts as well.

I did not like these discs off the tee (the wizard is much better for drives), but the challenger is excellent for putts and approaches.

I love the soft challenger It is my go to putter I use only Challengers either soft or CryZtal. I tried avairs but didn't like the feel, I did not think the JK was very soft. I also tried an Omega SS putter but it was too soft almost floppy. I really liked it, but could not get my release right it was so soft. I almost went with Rhyno's but just not soft enough. The soft Challenger fit me just right. the CryZtal ones I use for drives or long approaches. A good worn in soft will also annie fairly well. i have not tried a FLX but will before the year is over. I also have a photo of a super color Soft Challenger with the Eagle on it in my photo album
