I was reading the (only) review of this course (http://www.dgcoursereview.com/reviews.php?id=2338&mode=rev) and noticed that there's a restaurant right there in (or at) the clubhouse.

What a great idea! Anybody know of other courses where sit-down food is available right there at the course? Anybody try to get a food establishment set up as part of a DG course?

Yum yum!

disc golf isn't big enough in new jersey to even warrant stores that provide Discs off the property, much less a club house. And definitely not a resturant.

I wish that the game was more popular around here so we could get some type of vending in our parks!

sounds awesome nonetheless. I'd be down for that idea on any highly played course. Even smaller, cheaper Ball Golf courses will at least have a hotdog cart or something!

It would fail. Disc golfers are cheap. They spend their money on weed, beer, and discs (not necessarily in that order).

My home course has a Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins, a Hardee's, and a Papa John's within a five minute or so walk of the first tee. I've never walked it though. I always stop on the way in or out if I'm hungry.

Dukes sports bar in Arizona, right off Vista Del Camino park & next door to Spinners on the Green. A disc golf shop w/ bike rental.

Isn't there a restaurant in the clubhouse at the Twin Parks courses in Dripping Springs, TX? I need to make it out that way at some point.

Not really. Just beer and snickers bars.

I'd guess at least some of the courses that are built on ball golf courses would have dining onsite.

That's one of the points I've seen touted as to why disc golf on ball golf courses is worth the fee.

Let me expand a little on this particular course since I wrote the review! The course is in Stockholm and I would believe it's by far the best course in the Stockholm area, not having played any other. But it's got a very good reputation among Swedish and European players. Having a good reputation and being the top course in the region makes the course very popular, so I'm not surprised why a restaurant in the clubhouse works out. Oh, and the food was good in my humble opinion :D

Man, I'm just totally stoked on Sweden! Course of the day today was Åkersberga (http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=2370&cimg=5616) and I just spent half an hour in the "pictures" section. My God that's beautiful! Next lifetime I want to be Swedish!

Or at least, visit there a lot!
