Thanks for all the kind words. They are done with hand-cut stencils that I make and then dyed with Rit dye.

Ironically, I did the panic as a custom order for a girl for her boyfriend. They broke up and I got stuck with the disc. Sold it a week later at a tourney. It turned out really good.

I enjoy doing them and have done discs for folks all over this great country of ours.

I keep seeing these thread titles about people "dying" and wondering what the deal is with all the death topics. Finally realized they are regarding "dyeing", not "dying" -- LOL.

And yes, I am a grammar/spelling geek ;)

Yeah, I thought of something witty to respond with, but it turns out I was late to the party too. :(

haha what a joke. You should have know better than to make a Bama disc... you need to make one with the gator standing up. That would be some quality work.

Shortly awaited defiant e-mail;
"Yo, man, so you think you can dye some discs, huh? Yeah, well I've seen what you put out and can honestly say that I've seen a better dye job on Britney Spears' pubes, man. In fact, I think you just puked on those discs and called it art. WTF?
p.s.Can you dye me a Boss with Tony Danza on it?"

Dude, of course, I meant none of what I wrote there. Your dyes look frickin' sweet(except for the Dave disc), I was only making a play on solomon's mistype. Actually, I just wanted an excuse to type "Britney Spears' pubes."

Man, can't believe I missed that. I am generally a grammar/spelling critic as well. We all make mistakes.

The Kiss disc is a pro-line classic roc and if I had to guess that disc probably looks really bad by now. The pro stuff is really bad to dye. The dye never stops moving. If you dye a pro disc on the top of the disc the bottom will be the same color in a few months. I don't have any pro dyes that have kept their really crisp look for long. Of course I heard the Kiss disc would be wall art so without the heat of summer it could still look pretty good. Innova's Champ line and Discraft's Z line are the best to dye. They hold their dye pretty well. Star is funny stuff, it accepts the dye really well but it fades some. Some of the star stuff will actually transfer their original color to other discs if left in a hot car. That really sucks. Did a sweet flame dye on a flourescent green/yellow start orc and it transferred onto a baby blue esp disc red and green/yellow color alike. Pretty weird. Not all star does that. I think the star blend is sometimes more pro than champion or whatever the mix is. That might explain some of the rubbery star drivers I have found. I have a star Max that feels like a FLX almost.

As for Tony Danza, perhaps. I have never done a whole lot of silhouette type dyes. I have one in the works for a guy that wants the boss from The Office on it with his coffee cup that says World's Greatest Boss. Hope to get that done over the holidays for him. Will post here if it turns out.

Panic fan discflinger? Figure with the disdain for Dave! Don't listen to either one much anymore. Kids listening in on you and constantly perusing your iphone will certainly change what you listen to.

Yeah, I try to listen to just about anything, but always dug the dirty hippie stuff over the frat boy hippie stuff, a lot of bluegrass. Only time I've seen Panic was at the Roo' in 02', but it was so damn hot that I never went back.
