I love that I have the ability to look at all these courses people are telling me to visit on this site when we make our little disc golf journey in about a month. Are there any absolutely must play courses out there you guys can suggest?

The top 10 list would be a good start. You can also select a state, view all the courses in that state, and sort them by rating. Your best friend will be the course map, though. Set your criteria and start clicking along your route.

or the 50 courses of 2009.

If you become a premium member you can get gpx files for your navagator. Route map is awesome, you can find all courses with in 10 miles of your route, (or 50 how ever far you want to extend your search)
the $25 fee would be well worth how much easier it would make your trip.

Here's a link (http://www.dgcoursereview.com/topcourses_2009.php) to the top 50 courses. Outside of that you might end up with better suggestions if you ask about specific areas you're going to be in and get the locals to tell you their favorite under rated courses.

You might also want to visit Appling, GA, for the International Disc Golf Center, disc museum, etc. I hear they have a couple of pretty good courses there too.

Since you gave us little info to work with... I would follow the other suggestions above... And, look to visit some of the DG Meccas out there:
Charlotte, KC, Portland, Sacremento, Texas hot spots, etc...

Usually by visiting one of these Meccas... you can play multiple courses quickly (which is good for a road trip) and the courses are more than likely quality... especially if you use this site and read the reviews.

Good Luck!

Here is my home course (http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=188) it was ranked in the top 50 the year before. However my favorite one so far and it should be considered in the top 50 would be Deis Hill in Dover, Ohio (http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=2516). I mean if my home course was good enough to make it into the top 50 before. That should mean The Dover one which is just amazing should have had a spot on there. I think it was the only course I rated with a 5 disc.

if you happen through st. louis via highway 70, lemme know.

Sioux Passage Park is the destination spot for the area, and only 10 mins from my home.

I'll have to keep that in mind too. I was out there for a wedding last July and really wanted to play Sioux Passage but time was tight, my hotel was on the west side and it rained like crazy. I'll be passing through again this year around the same time and really want to hit that course.

In about a month, it will be Spring in the deep South.

You can play most anywhere, most anytime, but if the whole country's available to you, you might want to aim towards the most near-perfect weather.

Thanks...i love the top 50 list.

Yes, can you give us a general route you will be taking. I mean no sense in talking about the tip of Maine, if you are not going by there. ;)
