I have a buddy that works in some business park and told me there were some disc golf baskets near his office. I doubted him and told him if it is not on dgcoursereview or any other course directory it didn't exist. Sure enough I headed over there and WHAM a nice little 9 hole course with relatively new baskets.
I want to put it up here but that would require me making a name for it and trying to determine the distances, (there a little flags with the distance marking the tee areas on some holes). Who knows they might not even want anyone knowing about it. What do you guys think I should do? Leave a note and ask who made it and what the name is? It's on private/business property but they allow people to come and go as they want, there is a walking trail and a place to walk your dogs.
Hmm...

List it. Pick the name of the business as the course name. E.g. "Hewlett-Packard DGC". Tim can change the name later if you find out it's something else.

i agree with EricJ, list it so others can enjoy the course as you do.

I guess it's a good find. I'll head over tomorrow after werk, take a couple pics and get in a round or two. Thanks for the advice.

There is a pretty nice 9 hole course hidden in the redwoods of willits, ca.
it is only a object course, but we used to take our portable. tees and holes marked, may be a little tricky to figure out the first time, but a nice tightly wooded course. would people like info on things of this nature? it is public land, but not legally planned or whatever... let me know what ya think. thanks everyone.

share! ^^^^
as for the original poster, i think the right thing to do in the spirit of disc golf is to find out who owns the land/maintains the course and communicate with them as to how well they want the place to be publicized. it may very well be some CEO's personal playground, or someone's attempt to expand the sport in that area. research is needed.

Come to think of it, I found a secret course as well. My parents, who dont even play disc golf, told me that they were driving by the HS at the town by our NW WI Cabin (Cumberland, WI), and saw DG baskets. The course isnt on any directory, and I have yet to visit it for myself to confirm it, but I think I may have something here!! anyone else know anything about this course? 360 rotation, anyone?
