I know. It's goofy. But we have all these threads for what is the best . Best putter, best driver, best course, best towell, etc.
So what mini do you use & why? Where did you get it, etc.
I have a pretty good selection of minis collected from many different sources. Currently I am using my Huk Lab mini I got at the '08 Hub City Challenge DG tourney. Love that Huk logo:

The DGCR mini of course :)

I have a solid aluminum Innova mini that I found laying by a basket with no name. It is pretty sweet. I don't use markers when I play. I just throw from behind my disc.

D'oh! You beat me to it.
Actually the ultimate best is the DGCR Gold level Trusted Reviewer mini (signed by Timg). Currently there's only 1 out there.

I've been using a Discraft Photo UV mini (http://primediscs.com/proddetail.asp?prod=mini%2Dphotonuv). Like my mother it reminds me when I'm outside that I should be wearing sunscreen. It fits nicely in the mini pocket on my Innova DISCarrier bag. I tried an Innova UV mini but the UV effect only lasted a couple months and then wore off. The Discraft one has been going strong for several months now.
The DGCR mini of course :)
I keep a stash of DGCR minis in my bag to give out to noobs and people who need one.
My DGRC TR minis are on my trophy shelf.

I use either my GottaGoGottaThrow free with every order, or a Bowling Green disc golf club that my friend gave me. I also keep several with me to give away.

Next up is getting a dgcr mini, but for now I have a tye-dye aviar mini and a innova driver mini with the disc golfer logo on it. My girlfriend has one of them ching minis that is way cool. I'm 21 thumbs up from the ultimate mini though...a dgcr trusted reviewer mini!

Double stamped Pieradise and larger one to create a......coinpurse?
I currently use the free Gottagogottathrow mini. I used to have a sweet flydye mini from Discraft but it was one of the many things I Ebayed when I got married. Since reading the other topic I think I want one with Verne Troyer on it.

I got this one from the directors of the local tournaments. I helped get my local course ready for the tournament showed the directors the course, and they gave me this marker as thanks. I only use it during tournaments.

I've seen someone useing a thicker mini once it was almost like a paper weight. I think it was from gateway. Can anyone tell me what this mini was and where I can get one?

Similar to this metal one from Innova?

OK, I'll play...
This is my primary marker. It's an Innova Aero mini. It's OLD. It used to be red, but the years of sunlight have taken their toll. The big 16 basket looming over the St. Louis skyline represented the signature hole of Creve Coeur Lake Park back when there were only two disc golf courses in St. Louis. That hole was pretty much destroyed by a flood in 1993. Heck, the St. Louis Disc Golf Club does not even exist anymore! Anyway, it's been the mini in my bag for as long as I can remember.
http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj298/bubbakick/disc%20golf/002-5-1.jpg
My bag has two putter pockets and both have a slot for a mini, so I carry two minis. This one is a golf weight Innova Aero. It's just along for the ride, I never use it to mark with.
http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj298/bubbakick/disc%20golf/004-4-1.jpg
This last one is not in my bag. It's a Discraft mini Magnet. If you look closely, you will notice it looks beat up. These things were the most awesome mini-golf discs ever! I could toss one of these a lot farther than the golf weight Aero, and they were pinpoint accurate. I don't think they make them anymore, all I see in the way of Discraft minis are the mini Ultrastars these days. If you ever see one of these, pick them up and throw 'em. They are great throwers.

My favorite for use on the course is the Ching Juju mini. Very flexy -- great feel to it. I bend it and flex it between holes as part of keeping mentally decompressed. Best feel of any mini discs (don't throw very well, though).

I've got one of the minis that Steady Ed used to give out as business cards...has his contact info and pdga number on it. It was my favorite for a long time, but its very lightweight and has a tendency to get blown around in a strong wind.
I also bought a nice hand-blown glass mini from SunKing Discs a few years ago, but it's the exact opposite...too heavy to stay comfortably in my pocket.
For the past year or so I've just used minis that friends gave me or that came with other discs in online orders. Right now I rotate between my white LSDiscs mini and one from Circle R Ranch in Wimberly.

I don't use one... cause I don't have one.
Actually, I kind of do. It's one of the floppy mini's from Marshall St. The problem is it's a pain to take out and put in my pocket because it folds so I never end up using it.
Right now I mark my spot with some stick laying around.

I'm a big fan of my first run mini aviar putter. Its vivid yellow-green color is impossible to lose. The innova glow minis are also handy to use towards the end of the day when it gets dark out.

I got to see Jon's VP mini yesterday actually. My favorite mini is my Ching JuJu Supreme mini...but it's so freaking wide that it doesn't fit in my mini pocket, so I almost never carry it with me.
I found a 1999 worlds mini at Play It Again that I usually carry, but with the snow I don't carry it.
I tossed one I got for free in the bag, it's like a GottaGoGottaThrow mini, it's made by the people that make GGGT's but it's stamped with their own logo.

Of course. Did we mention it accessorizes one's bag nicely along with a DGCR travel tag?
