It's now a permanent hole at the courses I installed. #12 Shark Tooth Mtn. The Spine Hole. It's approx 175' with danger on both sides.

Looks like a fun hole, makes you pay for not hitting that straight line up the middle, and if you're short you're behind a big rock for your putting. The only concern I would have is erosion. It looks like there's already drainage coming down that hill, and having people walking on it constantly could make that a lot worse.
Love the flame war going on in the comments section. Dirtbikers vs. DGers. Crazy!
And cool hole, by the way.

Thats almost the exact shot as hole #4 at flip city, Except flip has a dozen or so trees to avoid when your throwing up the hill side. I like up hill shots personally, the only ace I have is on a steep up hill shot last summer.

From the comments section I take it that the dirtbikes have been kicked off the hill, probably due to environmental issues. Lacking a set of stairs, the foot traffic up that rut could make that rut worse.
Of course it is out in Cali and I don't know diddly squat about the rainfall and erosion problems in the area. I live in Missouri AKA erosion central, so I worry a lot about that kind of stuff.

The rut is from rain coming down over a very long period of time. The average rainfall in bakersfield,Ca is just above 3" per yr. This hill has been here for a while and will be here for a very long time. The mtns here in Ca are hard packed dirt and rock. Since this course has went permenant, a couple local dger's we call the "Step Kids" built a spiral stiarcase up the left side of this hole.

So the chances of having a missed putt not roll all the way down is better?
