Blue Mountain Ski Resort will open its TWO (YES !!! 2 !!!!) courses for 2010 play on Saturday May 22nd.

I think it is an accurate statement to say that I do not know of any venue within 3 hours drive of Warwick where you can play 2 courses any better than this combination.

The Peak Course is as much fun as you'll ever have throwing discs. The views are ridiculous.

The Base Course might actually be an even better course from a design and variety perspective than the Peak Course. It is being finished as I write this.

All tees on both courses will have concrete tees.

Blue Mountain is about 20 minutes SW of Stroudsburg, PA and is about a 1:45 drive from Warwick.

I'll most likely be there on Opening Day. It would be quite cool to have as many Skylanders as possible there that day. Anyone up for a road trip?

In order to play both courses in one day you should plan on being there no later than 9:00 or 10:00.

Get your butts to Blue Mtn. You won't regret it.

I have been waiting for the 2nd course to be added to the site myself...I have heard the courses are open sat n sundays which is an improvement over just sat last yr....I still need to get up there..I despise ski lift golf but Ive heard a lot of good things about this course and with a base course I am very curious what it's like

All GUNKed up posted this on the Central PA and Eastern PA boards:

now i heard from someone that the new course there was a mess and 2 baskets were missing and 1 or 2 tees were not done. basically not ready for the grand opening. maybe i will go there this saturday.

My Saturday plans were up in the air, but I think I'm going to head up there and check things out. I didn't get a chance to play the hillside course last year so I'm looking forward to that and the base course.
