Ew, an overstable mid!?!?
J/K, looks pretty good...
Are your Orc and Viking different enough that they don't overlap?
Are your Monarch and Beast different enough that they don't overlap?
Are your JK Aviar and Rhyno different enough that they don't overlap?

I ask because these particular discs can be really similar...

How far do you throw?

You like Innova way more than me.

The monarch and Pro Katana are a pretty good overlap besides what Marmoset already said.

I'm not opposed to other companies. It's just that the shops near me tend to only stock Innova. I like to feel before I buy.

Your bag looks pretty solid...are there discs you'd like to get rid of but still fill that spot? Are you just looking to try some new plastic and want things similar to what you have by other companies? I mean, there's always new plastic to try:)

Is there a particular type of shot you're not executing and you think a different disc would help?

I agree with Captain America. I'm amazed that you've somehow escaped the lure of plastic from the internet, though. I didn't know men were capable of such things.

If your goal is go smaller (as everyone seems to want to do) I'd say you could move an FL into the spots currently taken by the Firebird and Orc...a Lat 64 Vision could take that Monarch/Beast spot....your mids are money, but I always have to ask why no Buzzz??
3 putters? I carry 2, so it's not like it's a huge deal....have you thrown a Wizard/Focus, Warlock or Banger-GT? If you're just looking for suggestions, I like all of those, but if you stick with Innova, I find that the Pig/Rhyno combo is pretty money...

My Orc holds it's line better in a head wind but I get more distance out of the Viking. I could omit either and be OK however I am favoring the Viking.

The Monarch and the Beast definitely overlap. I would probably want to stick with the Beast.

The Aviar has more float so I like to use it putting uphill. My home course has a lot of elevation change.

My throw averages at 300'. I know this dictates that I don't use the Katana. In field practice I don't even take it out of the bag. I only practice with my fairway drivers. In a monthly I cheat and use it because I get an extra 40 feet out of it.

Driving is what I'm really working on. I feel very good about my putt and approach game.

I think if there was one shot that I would really like to improve on it would be long turnovers. I have a beat to hell DX Teebird that flips too quickly (even when thrown hyzer) and a SE Valkyrie that still likes to fade back a bit too much.

The Monarch doesn't do that for you? I use a beat to hell DX Gazelle for that.

How about your Monarch? Otherwise, I really like my lat 64 Vision. Also, do you play around with weight much? Perhaps you'd have an easier time getting a lighter disc for that long turnover shot? Personally I had a 175ish Wraith for a while that I couldn't do a thing with....but I got one at 168 and the difference was like night and day.

The Wraith is another disc that might work well for a long turnover shot...but if you want the ultimate understable disc, try the Discwing QKII...it's a little funky, but it's a cool disc...it had a nice slot in my bag for a while.

In the slowing down trend, I just added an Archangel to my bag...a CFR one ( I just like champ plastic)...perhaps the Monarch is too fast...I don't have enough experience to speak at length about the archange yet, but so far so good...

It doesn't work as well for the exact same reason I don't get more D. Nose angle. It will turn but nearly always come back. The cause of my problem is weight shift. I keep my center of gravity too far back.

See the top of the disc? That's no bueno. See my planted foot? Also a source of my woes.

I think you should join me in my Summer of Speed 7 or Less. And try a Leopard for that shot. :P

Edit-cool pic btw

I've been Vision curious for a long time. Most of my drivers are under 170. I think I should start experimenting with lower grade plastics.

Longer anny's, if you cant with the Valk, or Monarch, try a Defender.

I have a Pro Leopard. For me it seems that there is a fine line between when it fully flips and when it flips and fades back. That's why I've stuck with the Beast so long. I know that it will always fade back a little if I throw flat. If I change the release angle I can get it to stay right.

Maybe I need to pick up a forehand game like Stokley insists everybody should.

I do not really worry about this sort of thing at the moment. Whether or not it comes back seems to be a function of a lot of things besides just the disc...like how high you throw it, how much anny you put on it to start, how far you're throwing, etc.

I do wish I had a good forehand drive for just this reason, though. Mine is only usable out to 200 feet or so.

Do yourself a favor and get one of the Goldline Visions...and while you're at it, pick u pone or 2 more to save on shipping:) I did that with a Goldline Vision and I got a matching Core...why not?

high parting line visions are very stable so uh try not to get one of those.

Also...have you thrown an R-Pro Boss? They are really light and you have to release it on a decent hyzer angle to get it to go straight....the plastic is crap if you hit a lot of trees, and they make them light, so you could be hosed on a windy day....but it's a cool little disc that you don't have to be a 500 foot thrower to get use out of...

This is contrary to conventional wisdom. What business do I have with a Speed 13 disc?

Beable

You can put little comments in to your order form at GGGT. They've called me a few times on orders to make sure they're picking color/weight combos I like.

Bah! I'm telling you, I would not recommend anyone get a champ or esp boss...but the R-pro is a totally different disc. They're light and cheap and isn't like anything in your bag. It should improve distance and you'll be amazed how the disc flies when you release it with just a touch of hyzer.
Who cares if you't throw 500 feet?!?!?! I'd say if you consistently drive over 300....and maybe up into the 350 range, you can work with most discs.....but the R-pro boss isn't the same as the other bosses...I'm telling you...

Yeah, I've never had a bad experience buying from discgolfcenter or marshall street...and marshall street has a sweet inventory and guarantees the weight on all of their discs...so you may pay an extra buck or 2 for that security...

Yeah, mine is not so understable. Its either me, or the parting line. Flies more like a Surge SS.

I am telling you Zen, everyone knocks on Quest but I like my Defenders. I have 2 in premeir. 1 is Champ like and the other is more like FLX. I put some hyzer angle at various degrees depending on how hard I want it to turn or if I want it to come back. Takes some learning of the disc but they can really go when you get it right.
