Traveling solo to Indiana tomorrow to hit up Camp Cullom, Longley Park and Brookside Park.
Never played any Indiana courses.
Any locals up for meeting me for a round?

I don't think Camp Cullom is open yet- you might want to check.

If you're in the Lafayette area at 5:30, we have one of our leagues then. It's random doubles with an optional buy-in. Shoot me a pm if you are. I'd love to join you at Camp Cullom, but I have to work all day. There is a C-Tier tourney there on April 17 and 18 if you're back around.

How did you like Corpseside, er, Brookside?

I liked it. It had a nice measure of distance and finesse shots.
It's a course I would play often if it were local.
Sure, the surrounding area is littered and tattered, but the course rocks.
Gave it a 3.5 disc review the moment I got back to Columbus - so far, 1 thumbs down, 0 thumbs up.
...guess it wasn't very helpful.:\

By the way, the Camp Cullom course was the highlight of the trip.
It was bad ass!

Brookside is less than 100 yards from my father-in-law's house. The course is really fun but it is a dangerous park. My mother-in-law was punched in the face and had her phone stolen by some kid there while she was walking her dog in broad daylight. On another occasion my father-in-law and I played a round there and could smell something rotting. We joked about it being a person, but I figured it was a groundhog or something. A couple days later, some disc golfers found a corpse in the creek while they were looking for discs. I've called it Corpseside ever since.

I think it's an initiation thing. The first thumb I got on my review there was a thumbs down also.

Appreciated the invite.
I was down in Indianapolis by evening.
Anytime I make the trip back around, I will give a shout. :hfive:

George Wasington park is a nice park also.

I played the Indiana Fall Series event there last year and the temp holes made it really sweet.

Normal 18 does have some good holes though.

good variety

That's where I first cut my discgolf teeth. Great course.

Played Brookside last night.

No dead bodies (this time). Did have to skip hole #2 as a lady set out a blanket for her and her brood on the fairway. Beautiful day!
