I will be in Vegas 12-30-08 thru 1-5-09... I plan on hitting Sunset Park... Has anyone played it??? I am very new to the sport, but I'm hooked!!! Thanks in advance...

try mountain crest park. it's way on the NW side of town but the area is a little nicer than sunset pk

Sunset park is awesome, unless its HOT and WINDY... Played in a local saturday thing and it was about 100 degrees with 10-20 mph winds... really tough.

Make sure you stay away from the palm trees, if your disc goes up in there... your not getting it back. Without a ladder anyway.

Played Sunset on Friday morning... I was out there by 7:40am and had 10 or 11 holes done by the time anyone else was there... I was +6 for the 24 holes(counting them all as 3s) No birdies... I knew that I wasn't long, but I had only 3 or 4 real chances at a birdie!!!
