"Played" date mixup

Great site. There aren't too many reviews for courses in my local area (OK), but this would be very helpful if the DG community got behind a course-documentation project such as this.

I have some heartburn about the timestamp for when a reviewer last played the course written about. I played the Riverside course on 22 Dec 07 but accidentally left the year on the default 08 on my review. Is there a way to keep submitters from listing dates still 11 months in the future? It's my own fault, but some backend programming on the submission form would keep folks from making the same silly mistake.

Good catch.. I'll see if I can put something together to check for that before a review is submitted. For the moment, you can click "Edit My Profile" and update the review with the proper date you played it.

I just put some code in that will show you a warning in case you played your round in the future. Hopefully that'll save people from having to go back and update their reviews with real dates.
